Sri Lanka's newest television station will commence transmissions on the 8th of March 2009. We expect these to be test transmissions. This information is said to have been unveiled during the "Deyata Kirula" exhibition which was held recently.

Test transmission for this fta channel. Not much known about this one at the moment. Its tagged as TV Neth Lanka - which operated on 9E until a few weeks ago, although the logo this one is using is different to the other Neth Lanka.

ReplyDeletei dont know how much accurate this news, but i'll tell u; Soma Edirisingha who onwed EAP media network married with Maharaja who onwed MBC/MTV netwok in few months ago. there wedding photoes didn't published due to the reliable casess. so sampath, sirasa wonts to buy EAP. it also onwed to it. i think hiru tv on net is not a property of hiru media network & another thing i have 2 say u, now HIRU fm, gold fm, suriyan fm run under Hiru media network. but the tv licence got their mother company ABC radio network. when i reading hiru facebook i feel they dont know about their mother company projects. because ABC is international & hiru media is local.

Sam path its not a new TV channel .Its a mistake.some times we get Indian DD Channels .Thats why some people have post about that.
