Vasantham TV now testing on pay networks

Sri Lanka's newest television station and sister channel of ITN -Vasantham TV- has commenced testing on pay television networks from today. This channel is now testing on Dialog TV and will be on other networks prior to the launch. The channel has not commenced terrestial broadcasts as yet but will initlally start broadcasting on pay television networks. This is the third tamil language channel in Sri Lanka.

    What happen to Vasantham tv ?

    When they start testing on Monday it was Clear (not like ITN )But Can watch .Today they Launch there channel but cant watch .ITN must Do some thing for this.

    SIYATHA TV TEST TRANSMISSION NOW ON AIR-they show NHK programmes & some times they telecast songs(sinhala,hindi,tamil,english)

    Its not VIS. VIS is 107.9. and its not Radio 2 either.

    This may be a different channel. Seems to be a different one.

    nick Vis Broadcasting is Big Company & they can do lot of Fm Radio Channels and Tv Channels.

    Currently They Have Youth Radio On 107.9 Fm & 100.7 Fm And Also They Will Start a Nother Fm Radio Channel On 101.5 Fm And a TV Channel.

    Youth Radio Is Now Testing 24 Hrs.

    I Went To FaceBook Profile Of Youth Radio.They Have Mention That
    The transmission is only from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM (Mon-Sun) currently as it is in testing process and soon to be broadcasting 24 hours with an island wide coverage.

    89.8Mhz which was earlier Gold FM frequency for Colombo later allocated to VIS for Magalkanda/Yatiyanthota. But anyhow they have changed the location and started the English channel on this frequency from Colombo. Earlier it was supposed to start on 101.5Mhz.

    vasantham tv now only cover colombo area, but in next 6 month they will cover entire island as ITN. Prime tv will start soon. it will be on channel 24 or 57. friend of mine work for lakhada told me that. And he told me that in prime tv they not going to cover big air time by CCTV. sam, there are 2 nicks in here. Im NICK and i so that another NIK in there. u answerd to NIK but he is not me(NICK) and do you know more about SIYATHA TV? in what channel they going to start there tv channel? is it true they going 2 start tv channel in this week?

    TRC has updated all the frequency assignment list dated 30th June. But due to an unknown reason, they have removed all the reserved frequencies from the list in all UHF, VHF & FM sections

    Now Vettri fm from VOA working in 106.7Fm for island wide but Real radio also was working in 106.7 for few days but nomore. How can this happen?
