Channel One MTV UHF 58 poor quality reception

We are receiving reports that the new Channel One MTV frequency on UHF 58 is not clear in most areas. Since we are made to understand that the Channel One frequency is still classed as a Test frequency and they have not officially launched Channel One MTV on this, we hope that the clarity issues will be solved before they launch officially.

At present UHF 38 shows reruns. We are unable to obtain information on the official launch date of this new frequency.

Blog admin, is this test transmission on UHF 38 or UHF 58. I think it should be corrected as UHF 58.

The man to contact is Mano Wikramanayake. Maybe they are transmitting from Depanama. If its Eye Hospital junction then the signal should be goo

I was informed by the engineer at MTV that we will all need ANOTHER UHF antenna without boosting!!

Apparently channel 58 needs a shorter Yagi antenna as the frequency is different to Channels 23 qnd 25.

This means MORE expense to viewers!!!
