"V FM" Web Site

One of Sri Lanka's newest Sinhala Language Radio Stations V FM have launched their web site with a whole host of features including on line streaming and multi language facilities. The Web Site can be viewed in Sinhala or English, this we believe is the first time a Sinhala language station has introduced a dual language website.

The link to the website is : http://www.vfmlanka.com/

I think V-FM and Max Radio's web sites are more cooler than Neth FM's website, its didn't update for a long period of time.

Their main business is radio. so its their station need to be updated and not the website. It doesnt matter how cool is the site if the radio is crap. Eg, V and Max.

Hi sandun,

Yes Jimmy has left GOLD. News is that he is going to join with E or the still unnamed english channel by siyatha.

Has anyone noticed about the quality of Siyatha FM transmission for last few days. It seems way ahead from where it was.

Its good they appreciate the fact that listners also need rich sound qualtiy other than just content and coverage. There only very few local stations concern about the sound quality.

I don't think V FM and Max Radio are crap. They are doing pretty good job, and they are actively getting listeners suggestions to improve their services, its indeed a good step as younger members of Sinhala radio field.

That's true their main business is radio inside the Sri Lanka, but still they have to concentrate their own respective webcast & keep developing it as a service, cause it'll helps most of the Sri Lankan expertriates glue with Sri Lanka. What you guys thinking?

Exactly correct.

Main objective of their website is the webcast.

And ppl should not get headache by trying to find the PLAY button of the webcast from a messy web site.

BUT,

Still attractive & up to date web site is need to have each & every radio stations with quality webcast. In this regard Asura FM, V-FM & Max Radio are way ahead from other radio stations. As I think Sirasa FM, Neth FM have more funds to do that, when comparing with Siyatha FM & etc.
