Sri Lanka's newest radio channel "Lak FM" is now running test transmissions on FM 92.0 from their tower located in Kelaniya.
This channel is owned and operated by Mr. Hema Nalin Karunarathne. According to information they have also obtained a license to operate a television station.

mr.Hema Nalin is CEO of this Lak FM channel(Not the owner)Chairman/Owner is Mr.Lakshman Perera(Famous businessman regarding for Sprit)and MD is former SLBC guy mr.Seelarathne Senarath(Working in now as Media Sec. of Prime Minister)
what is happening to Sun and Sha FM channel
anybody knows whether SUN FM is available now.. i scaned thru but did not find. Gold FM is there !

This Fm sation is Run by Peopls Media PVT LTD.owned by singer head Mr Hemaka Amarasuriya.They also have tv channel call Tv2

I got some Info about the newspeaper.I think It's owend to Voice Of Asia.Becoz the Name of the newspeaper is Siyatha & the Web site it is www.Siyatha.lk . This site erlier alocated SIyatha FM. For Siyatha FM the new web site is WWW.Siyatha.com .If this Info is correct the First Srilankan midea Station's to have a Newspeaper,3 Radio station,1 Tv station & Tool bar.
