It has been reported that Derana Radio that ceased testing sometime back has recommenced testing once again from last night. We are unable to get access to the frequencies but we hope that our fellow bloggers will post the frequencies here for all to try out the test transmission.

THE I ASKED ABOTU THAT WHEN SIYATHA TV STRATING THEN THEY GAVE ME A QUESTION FORM TO ANSWER AND THEY HAVE ASKED WHAT TIME IS THE BEST TIME TO TELI CAST TH NEWS AND WHAT IS THE CHANNEL YOU WATCH LIKE RUPAVAHINI,SIRASA,SUWARNAWAHINI AND DERANA.WHAT IS THE TIME YOU WATCH TV ETC.

EVERY BODY CAN REMEMBER VASANTHAM FM.ITS THE TMAIL RADIO CHANNEL FOR ITN AND THEY LAUNCH THAT CHANNEL TRATGETING EASTERN PROVINCE ELECTION .

i seriously dont know the answer for this question im going to ask but i need to ask it.
Do we really have enough frequencies to allocate?? common man almost around 50 radio stations(i guess) and around 20 TV channels. isnt it too much already??
and i think it was a good idea by siyatha tv to ask wat time is best to put news. coz now all da TV ppl put news at the same time. sirasa, rupavahini, TNL, ITN and swarnawahini all put news at 12noon and 8pm. it was a good move by sirasa to start news at 10 but now ITN also putting news at 10. its kind of useless knw!!
We Dont need any More Radio and But I think Some TV channels Ok
I think Now we need a Sports channel and News channel (both in tv and radio)
