Hi! Everybody! This is your favourite blogger again. It is rumoured that CBNSat is to launch ESPN very soon, maybe somewhere in January 2006. It is yet to be seen whether they launch ESPN only or ESPN & Star Sports.
Well they are also discussing with Ten Sports. Although there is no such rumour about a probable launch month. If CBNSat is able to bag Ten Sports, Star Sports & ESPN then they will strike a severe blow to Comet Cable.
In addition if CBNSat is able to sign up Star World, Star Movies & Hallmark Channel, then Comet Cable can kiss the Cable business goodbye unless they speed up the launch of their Comet Digital broadcast which they initially said would be launched at the beginning of 2005.
At the moment Comet Cable has the edge over CBNSat because they have the above mentioned channels but if CBNSat is able to sign up these channels then it is bye, bye Comet Cable.
