E FM Radio launches website

One of Sri Lanka's English Language Radio Station E FM Radio have launched their website on http://www.e-radio.fm/

The website contains a webcast which makes E FM one of the few English Language stations that have a webcast.

This is the first website by E FM and we believe that E FM which has been struggling in the market dominated by TNL Radio, Sun FM, Yes FM, wants to make a comeback into the industry.

What is happening to MAX TV?

There is nothing to watch on it. And who wants to watch Indian news?

Looks like they are struggling to survive now. Poor Chamuditha will have to find another job very soon.

Hey, if the news about Mark joining eFM is true then we might have a jolly good (i mean a real JOLLY GOOD)morning show with him and Omega. They might turnout to be a great combination.

Although Omega does a reasonably good job with the Morning drive it was real fun when Ryan was with her. maybe Mark can fill in (hope he does)to change things around.

has anybody been able to listen to E online?

There seem to be an error in the URL. anybody who has been able to get through, please confirm.

@ Jughead

I managed to listen today ( DSL users link ) after many days of trying. The quality is ok but not as good as TNL. I think they are still having some server problems. Hope they will rectify it in the days to come.

Well, its true. Mark is joining E! The word is that he got a great offer and jumped on the packet before saying his goodbyes. I guess thats how loyalty is. I am keen fan of the show, and I dont object to anyone moving on, but, the way he left was rather ugly. The show made us feel very united and Shaq & Mark played an integral part of our mornings. Now it's Shaq all alone, and I am sure he is also feeling the loss.
Anyway, I really doubt that Mark can pull what he pulled off at YES Fm without Shaq!

Wish him the best. But, hopefully he wont jump at the next big offer that comes his way!

Why not E! FM webcast not supporting Windows Media player? I think somthing wrong in your windows media player, E! FM's webcast playing without any problem in Windows meida player, its quality far better than Yes FM's webcast...Keep it up your good work E! FM....

Anonymous said...

I think they having issues with webcast upload

Anonymous said...

Both DSL & DIAL UP links are working fine for me with winamp and jetaudio.

I too had the skipping problem, but it seems to be ok now.

Sri Lankan government has blocked TamilNet!!!!!

The site is not accessible on SLT lines. What about other services?

Anonymous said...

This is all about Sri Lanka Internet speed problem, they seems host their webcast on USA but they are getting low upload speed that why skipping problems, if you see buffing then cast server issues so no buffering nee SL TRC must act for this kind of things ( I mean make some better rules )
