Sri Lanka's 1st Educational Channel "Nenasa" to launch in May

The first educational channel in Sri Lanka will be launched in May 2008 by the Ministry pf Education and Dialog TV will provide free satellite technology to this project. This channel will be completely dedicated to education and will cater to the needs of the O/L & A/L students in all three languages.

The National Institute of Education will be the advisor for this channel and most programs will be produced by in house technicians at the institute. In addition some programmes are expected to be outsourced whenever required.

The srilankan newest radio channel SATH Fm 103.06 is launching on the 10th March.
